On March 29, 2022, the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) cooperated with Japan's Maeda Corporation to organize a Workshop on Introduction to Construction Technology and Job Opportunities at Maeda Corporation. The seminar was held online with the participation of Japanese and Vietnamese engineers.

Overview of the webinar

Attending the seminar were the presence of Mr. Tran Tuan Khanh - Deputy General Director of Maeda Vietnam; representatives of the Recruitment Department and the Technical Department of Maeda Corporation Japan; MSc. Nghiem Ha Tan - Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department, NUCE and more than 40 Vietnamese and Japanese engineers.

Mr. Nghiem Ha Tan highly appreciated the effective cooperation relationship between the Group and the University over the years. The job market in Japan has always been highly attractive to Vietnamese students, shared Tan. Therefore, he hopes that students of NUCE will take advantage of this workshop to find more opportunities to start apprenticeships and work at Maeda Corporation Japan.

At the seminar, representative of the Recruitment Department of Maeda Group introduced briefly about the company as well as the position of construction manager at the construction site, salary, bonus and welfare regime; Representative of the Group's Technical Department introduced about Precast Concrete technology as well as BIM application in construction.

The seminar has attracted a lot of students participation. Hopefully, such students will be accepted and enter the next round of interviews with Maeda Corporation Japan.
